Horizon University (HU) is a non-profit university operating under a non-profit exemption verified by the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE).  HU is a university-owned, controlled, and operated and maintained by a religious organization lawfully operating as a nonprofit religious corporation, and has met the exemption from regulation under the Act, pursuant to California Education Code (CEC) section 94874 (e) (1).


Horizon University (HU) is approved by the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to accept and enroll foreign, non-immigrant F-1 students for academic degrees.


The U.S. Consulates/Embassies issue F-1 visas for all students from overseas who are accepted for full-time study at HU. The rules for Visa Application may vary from country to country.
